A vanilla-led scent can lean toward amber woods, a milky impression, a fluffy confectionery direction or smoke. Those are useful starting points for sampling, but the published note pyramid is not a literal ingredient list and cannot reproduce the experience on skin.

The shortlist deliberately includes contrasting warm directions. Someone who wants a softly sweet everyday scent may not want a smoky accord, while someone who finds straight sweetness too much may appreciate a woodier contrast. The right choice starts with that preference rather than the most recognizable bottle.
