Research, authorship and AI assistance

Shopfest is founded by Minjung Kwon. Articles published under the Shopfest Editorial Desk are research based editorial selections. A desk byline does not imply a team of credentialed specialists or firsthand use of every product.

AI tools may assist drafting, organizing comparisons and creating labeled styling illustrations. AI output is not independent evidence. Product facts must be traced to sources; a retailer statement is attributed to the retailer, and an editorial recommendation is distinguished from a measured result. A published or updated date does not mean every linked offer was rechecked on that day.

Images and permissions

Retailer and creator credits identify a source; attribution alone does not establish permission to republish. Images require an applicable license, affiliate permission or other valid basis for use. Original social posts are linked or embedded rather than presented as Shopfest’s own footage. Generated styling illustrations must be labeled and must not imply a real visit, product test or celebrity endorsement. Send image rights questions to our contact desk.

Sources and corrections

Shopfest uses approved retailer information, runway reporting, platform trend reports, independent creator evidence, and comparative product research. A shoppable exact item must match the retailer, title, color, current price, merchant ID, and destination URL. Its image must come from the exact retailer listing or an approved affiliate feed.

Generated imagery is reserved for clearly editorial stories and never substitutes for an exact product image, Product structured data, or shoppable product card. Search result guides receive no product score or exact item claim. Prices and availability can change after our latest check, so the linked retailer remains the final source of truth.

For a correction, use Contact and include the page URL, the disputed detail and a supporting source. Material corrections should explain what changed; minor copy edits do not establish a new product verification date.
