The first fit check for a hoodie beneath a raised collar is at the back of the neck. Lay the hood where you would naturally wear it, then move your shoulders and turn your head. If the hood pushes the jacket forward, a different layer order may work better. Do not assume sizing up automatically fixes a mismatch between collar shape and hood volume.

Know what the cropped jacket can hold
