SHOP THE FAMILY LOOK

Coordinate the colors. Keep everyone comfortable.

Selected pieces, organized by family member. Choose one lead color and repeat it once; let ivory, oatmeal or navy do the rest.

For Mom: silk, cashmere or a knit dress

Start with ivory cashmere and a red skirt. Bring an existing neutral dress if you prefer a one-piece outfit.

For Dad: the knit-and-trouser formula

Burgundy, navy and brown options with Sand Dune chinos. Check the size notes before planning around a color.

Pretty dresses for the girls

Red velvet, forest velour or green tulle. Add tights and shoes you already love.

For the boys: an easy coordinating knit

Oatmeal and navy work with existing dark denim or cream chinos.

How we chose these pieces

HOW WE COMPARED

Selected US retailer pages, listed prices, colors, visible size options and product photos checked October 30. The provided ShopMy link resolves to the Quince homepage; each product card uses Shopfest’s existing ShopMy integration to the selected product page. No commission rate or individual-size stock guarantee is claimed.

An independent family styling edit, not a popularity ranking or hands-on product review.

Our editorial standard →
Choose the setting first

Use red and ivory for an indoor Christmas tree or studio. Pick forest green and warm cream for an outdoor evergreen background. Navy and oatmeal work at home without competing with a decorated tree. Repeat a color in two outfits, then vary texture and silhouette.

Fit and availability come before the photo

At the check, Dad’s burgundy knit showed XS and S, navy showed S, and brown showed XS, S and XXL. The oatmeal women’s dress showed XS and S. Those colors are options for matching sizes, not a guaranteed full-family set. Size controls and combinations can change. Use a sweater you already own if the right size is missing.

Finish with what is already in the closet

The children’s knits need bottoms; the dresses may need tights or a cardigan outdoors. Use clean, comfortable shoes that work for standing and sitting. Avoid introducing several new prints. Check Quince’s current delivery estimate and garment-specific return conditions before ordering for a fixed photo date.

Make the family selection work together

For sibling photos, choose one forest-green dress and one oatmeal or navy knit, then use trousers, tights and shoes the children already own. These are separate product choices; confirm each child’s measurements and size range rather than assuming the same size label fits both. Keep the adults’ colors quieter so the green remains the focal point.

THE SHOPFEST DECISION

What we would choose—and why.

Start with one hero dress or knit, then add only the pieces your family needs. The easiest photo outfit is the one everyone can move in.
