Choose the exact Tabby before comparing anything
Tabby 26 is a family name, not a single set of materials and measurements. This edit reuses Shopfest’s black CCX04 record with brass hardware. Its current source lists natural grain leather, leather lining and a 10 by 5.5 by 2.75 inch body. A CH857 polished pebble leather page describes a different version. We would not transfer those specifications or a quilted bag review onto this item. Polène is the Numéro Dix in Textured Black, not the smooth leather edition or another model such as Cyme.
Pack your daily essentials before choosing a silhouette
A rectangular bag and a crescent can look similarly compact in a photograph while packing differently. Put your phone, keys, wallet, glasses case and any essential medication together, then compare their measurements with the opening as well as the body. The Polène listing gives 24 by 20 by 7.5 cm dimensions and a 425 g weight. Published outer dimensions do not equal usable internal capacity. We have not conducted a packing test and cannot promise that a specific phone or bottle fits either bag.
Decide which opening you will enjoy using
The CCX04 source describes a snap closure, outside zip pocket and internal organization. Numéro Dix uses a zippered outer closure and includes an interior pocket. Consider whether you reach for one small item repeatedly or prefer one closed main compartment. The curved top of a crescent bag can ask for a different packing approach from a rectangular opening. That is an editorial inference from the shape, not a measured access speed test. Neither closure is presented as proof against theft or loss.
Check the straps with your coat on
Both selected products provide two straps, but their published measurements describe different things. Coach gives strap drops; Polène gives adjustable strap lengths. Do not compare those numbers as if they were the same measurement. Think about whether you want shoulder carry, crossbody carry or both, then try the bag with your fall coat if possible. Body size, coat thickness and where you like a bag to sit change the experience. The extra strap in the box does not guarantee that every carry position suits every person.
Compare the delivered total and aftercare
The recorded product prices were $475 for Coach and $620 for Polène. The difference is $145 before tax and shipping. Polène’s US page notes additional delivery taxes, so do not describe the listed product price as the final total. Review current delivery, return costs and any care exclusions before buying. Textured leather does not establish scratch resistance, and a higher price does not establish a longer lifespan. If the bag will be your everyday purchase, the layout you use and the aftercare you can access matter more than a general claim that one brand is better.
